Forest Immersion (one day)

From NZD $310.00
  • Duration: 7 Hours (approx.)
  • Location: Pukeatua, Waikato
  • Product code: SMMNOW

To be at your best for family, friends and workplace you need to take care of yourself. Take time away from the fast-paced world and immerse yourself for the day in the freshness of nature. This may seem self-indulgent but unless you replenish your own resources you can feel drained and dispirited when encountering the demands of home and work. Refresh your energy and renew your perspective on life as you immerse yourself in the richness of an ancient forest environment.

You will be offered a variety of invitations to notice, reflect and interact with the environment by your experienced guides. Through purposeful slow walks, focusing on your senses and the gentle guided movement of Qigong you can explore your connections with the forest and feel your stresses drift away. All invitations are optional with some experiences as part of the group and some on your own.

We will walk at a slow pace with lots of stops and a maximum continuous time on your feet of just over an hour so the moderate track gradients and distance should not pose a problem to anyone of reasonable walking ability. We will be spending the day in Te Tūī a Tāne southern enclosure based in the Events Centre which provides overhead protection from the weather.

Workshops can be run on a day that suits your business (dates are available by arrangement). If the date you're interested in isn't available or you prefer to be invoiced please get in contact. Select the number of participants and choose a date, then select whether you require a wellbeing report and catering.
