Meditation on the Maunga
- Duration: 7 Hours (approx.)
- Location: Pukeatua, Waikato
- Product code: MITMSE170623
You are invited to experience the peace and tranquility of practicing meditation within Te Tūī a Tāne southern enclosure. The birdsong and gentle sounds of nature are an ideal setting to focus and reflect on 'inner' experiences.
During the day you will be invited to develop an attuned approach to your meditation and to your on-going experience.
Guidance will be offered by Elizabeth Day and Willa Thaniya Reid of Kihikihi Meditation & Yoga. They will guide you through sessions of walking and seated meditation. You will be encouraged to practice in silence. This allows a deepening of your ability to notice and reflect on ‘inner’ experiences, and to attune to all the maunga offers.
9.30am – Registration at the Manu Tīoriori visitor centre.
10.00am – Meditation practice will begin
12.30pm – Lunch break in the ngahere (please bring your own lunch)
1.00pm – Meditation practice resumes

All proceeds of this event go towards conserving the flora and fauna of Maungatautari.
